One of the main things we focus on first in both the group workshop and my one-on-one coaching is connecting with your body (without any toys). Our bodies have a huge capacity for pleasure in many ways beyond our vulvas\, despite the messaging we are often fed from the media. We explore our relationships with our bodies as well as our sexuality\, and I provide education about female anatomy. We talk a lot about barriers to orgasm\, specifically the role that our minds play in inhibiting our ability to get “in the mood” and how long it actually takes women to become aroused.  \nThe two-day workshop is based on Betty Dodson’s workshop format\, which includes the following rituals:  \n– Body Appreciation (aka Genital Show-and-Tell) \n– Rock-n-Roll Demo \n– Erotic Recess \n– Group Massage \nIn addition\, we also explore sexual fantasies\, experience a guided self-touch meditation\, and incorporate body movement.  \nThis group workshop is open to cisgender women and transgender\, nonbinary\, and gender-expansive individuals.  \nThis in-person event is scheduled for Saturday & Sunday\, September 17-18\, 2022\, from 1:00-6:00 p.m. Eastern on both days. The location is Chapel Hill\, North Carolina\, USA.
