Making the trip from Melbourne, Australia to Cleveland in the U.S.A. to attend a Bodysex® Workshop was a huge commitment… the decision to go was easy to make. Travelling to the U.S. during 47’s presidency was the bigger issue for me… but with my travel issues worked through, the decision final, the practicalities addressed, at last ‘departure day’ arrived. This was a 30,000+km round journey which has taken my learning to the next level… the end goal? To be Australia’s first certified Bodysex® Certified Coach.
As women arrived, the mix of moods, emotions and energy ranged from the reserved and curious to the outright excited and ready to get going… that might have been me! With the scene set to begin, the change from street clothes to robes made, we all joined the circle.
The Bodysex® Rituals, created by the maven Betty Dodson, were the foundation of the two-day workshop… all women being equal in the circle, being unclothed, being open and vulnerable and willing to embrace the glorious possibilities of enhanced self-pleasure and orgasms was delightful and for me an all-encompassing positive and vibrant energetic cocoon.
Being walked through Betty’s time-honoured rituals, over two days, saw each woman experience their own questions and new self-observations, their own doubts and epiphanies – big and small, some held private, and others shared. The most powerful experience for me was the new self-awareness and growth opportunities that the Bodysex® space allowed for – both mine and others as shared.
I am filled with gratitude for the experience, the coaches, the woman I was surrounded with and the powerful release of many of my own concerns about participating…
I look towards an exciting, orgasmically energetic future for me and all the women who will be part of Bodysex® Australia…
